When you mount your TV on the wall you are trying to achieve the ultimate in viewing pleasure, so having loads of messy wires hanging behind the TV that are visible to the viewer is not the way to go. So how can you hide these wires?
Use plastic or aluminium trucking
You can use trunking discreetly fixed to the wall to hide all the cables you need for your TV. If your room is painted white like the trunking it will hardly be noticeable to the viewer.
Use a cable management system
You can buy spiral wire wrap to wrap your cables together neatly. This way you will only see one loom of cables emerging from behind the TV – and they will look really neat.
Bury the cables into the wall
If you want to go the whole hog you can bury all your cables in the wall behind the TV wall mount to get the ultimate look. You will need an electrician to install a power point but this is perhaps the best way to get the look you are after.
