It’s strange to look at old TVs and think how you were satisfied with the viewing experience once upon a time. When colour televisions first appeared, black and white TVs suddenly seemed unwatchable, where previously they’d been fine. As screen sizes got larger, every new TV made the last one seem poor quality.
Nowadays we have LCD and plasma screen TVs and it seems bizarre that we spent so long watching the older CRT TVs. The image quality was inferior and TV sets with larger screens were enormous and took up half the room.
The same principle applies to positioning your TV set. Television brackets allow the screen to be properly positioned.
