Installing TV brackets using a power drill
When you have checked there are no services such as water pipes or electricity cables underneath the wall surface you can mark the holes for the bracket using a pencil. If you have not used a power drill before you should ask for some help from someone who can use one. If you just need a little advice, read on.
We are assuming that you are drilling into a brick wall, so you should be using a masonry drill bit. This drill bit is especially hardened so it can be used with hammer action drills. A variable speed hammer drill is the best type of drill to use for the job because when you pull the trigger gently it will start slowly and then speed up as you pull the trigger harder. Choose an appropriate size drill bit depending on the screws you have for the bracket.
