We often mention that one of the best things about TV wall mounts is the flexibility that they give to their users with regards to the vast number of different positions they can be moved to. But how can the different types of TV wall mounts be moved?
Tilt TV wall mounts have a point at which the bracket uses a hinge in the horizontal plane to allow the part of the bracket attached to the TV to be tilted from the part of the bracket that is attached to the wall. Usually you need to loosen a couple of screws that are located on the bracket to allow some adjustment.
Swivel TV wall brackets also use a hinge mechanism but in the vertical plane. This means the bracket can be swivelled to the left or the right. You can usually swivel these brackets without adjusting any screws, but in some instances if you tighten the screws, the bracket will be more difficult to move and if you loosen the screws it will be easier to move.
