The new AQUOUS HD TV from Sharp

Category: TV Brackets — August 27th, 2009

Sharp, one of the world’s leading TV brands, has just launched a new range of Sharp AQUOUS HD TVs. The AQUOUS HD TV has been received with a lot of praise and positive reviews. The TV even has Blu-Ray recorders installed into the body of the device.

The Japanese company claims that the new AQUOUS HD TV with Blu-Ray recorders built-in will be able to store seven times more recorded material than on a traditional Blu-Ray disc. While this is a great achievement for Sharp, the greatest achievement of this exercise is simply that the Blu-Ray recorders are now present within the television set.

The 52 inch model will be launched in Australia shortly with 1080p, 15,000:1 contrast ratios and a total of 3 HDMI inputs. All the AQUOUS HD TV models will have an internet connection which will readily support IPTV and BD Live. This is great news for Sharp as the AQUOUS HD TV is the first TV with this level of Blu-Ray integration.
