This may have already been decided because the room lends itself to a certain space for your TV. If you want to get a cinema-like effect, you may need to mount the TV on the largest wall. One thing to note when choosing a suitable position is to have a look at the available power sockets and position of the TV aerial point. It can be a costly affair getting an electrician to move the position of these services.
When you have decided on a suitable spot, you can then do some checks to make sure that the bracket can be fastened to the wall securely and the TV will not come crashing down soon after fitting.
