Samsung is about to unveil its latest range of 400Hz LCD TVs
The Korean electronics giant, Samsung has come out with a new range of LCD TVs. They are going to showcase this range of 400Hz enabled LCD TVs at this years IFA consumer electronics trade exhibition in Berlin.
There has been no official confirmation from Samsung that they will unveil their 400Hz LCD TVs. The rumours that came in last year were true though; when they unveiled their 200Hz LCD TVs at this show. The 200Hz LCD TVs made it to the show and then into the TV showrooms in UK. Samsung’s 400Hz LCD TVs use new technology. This new technology is known as BFI or DFI (black frame or dark frame interpolation). This new piece of technology inserts extra frames. Samsung’s current 100Hz or 200Hz LCD TVs insert extra frames using an advanced algorithm to calculate the picture content of these frames.
The BFI or DFI technology inserts short black frames between the original picture images. In this way you can get a clearer picture quality. It should be remembered that it is always necessary to pick the right LCD TV bracket, in order that your TV is safely mounted on the wall.
