The sales force at most of the big electronic retail stores is recommending Samsung LCD televisions over the other LCD televisions in the market. According to the latest survey by JD power and associates, the sales force at most electronic stores now perceive Samsung as the premium brand over the other manufacturers.
Over the first half of 2009, 1500 mock shoppers were sent to 1200 retail electronic stores across the country. The findings revealed that 58% of the time, most of the sales staff at these stores pitched for Samsung over other televison sets. From the studies it has become apparent that the Samsung television was being pitched for by sales people nearly 13% more than in the beginning of the year.
Not only do the sales people at electronic retail outlets pitch for the Samsung television set, they also pitch for its attributes. Features such as its processor speed, picture quality and the awards the brand has received make Samsung a great choice.
According to the vice president of the operational research department for JD power and associates, the brand value of Samsung has grown in the eyes of the sales people at the stores. They now view the LCD screen as more of a premium quality brand as opposed to a value brand.
