An LCD TV price war is expected in China as manufacturers cut prices to try and hit yearly targets after a disappointing start to the year.
Overall LCD TV sales are likely to fall short of estimates, therefore top brands are bringing their prices down in an effort to win what custom there is. Some, such as Sharp and Samsung, have already dropped prices by as much as 20 per cent.
Assuming sales pick up, brackets will be needed for all of these additional TV sets. Top LCD TVs do need brackets so that they can offer the best viewing experience.
