A TV bracket fixes your LCD TV to the wall. You will not need any floor space for it. It looks trendier as there is enough space in your room and it also allows you to place your TV screen at any height.
There are a variety of styles for TV brackets. Many let you tilt your screen either up or down or revolve it from side to side. You can set your screen high or low depending on your viewing position. Tilting is thus considered handy. But revolving the screen helps you view it from even an adjacent room.
A few TV brackets hold the screen in one fixed position. This does not allow any adjustments. Though it is cheaper, it is difficult to replace cable wires, DVD players or satellite receivers.
Compatibility of the brackets can be checked with the help of “FDMI” – Flat display Mounting Interface. It assures the standard size and shape mentioned in the guidelines. If your screen has a listed FDMI, be sure it will fit the particular bracket.
