Sharp is set to release a range of more eco-friendly LED TVs. The Quattron range is also of note because of the unusual technology used to create the picture. Rather than relying on red, green and blue, like most conventional TVs, the Quattron range has a fourth colour, yellow.
Sharp is targeting many of its current efforts towards the Middle East and Africa, aiming to acquire around 10 per cent of the market there – around 350,000 TV sets. Each of these customers should also think about getting some form of television bracket. A Sharp Quattron produces such a high quality picture, you wouldn’t want it positioned awkwardly, where it was hard to view.
