Most of the modern homes have TV brackets installed in their houses to wall mount the TV and claim space in the house. Moreover, most of the modern TV sets can be wall mounted above the fireplace in order to enhance the décor of your house.
Different types of TV brackets
TV brackets are available in many different types. Some of the common ones are listed below.
Low profile TV mount
A low profile TV bracket is cheaper and does not offer any movement whatsoever. Once the TV is mounted, it cannot be moved in any direction. These brackets are small in size and hence are ideal for homes with smaller rooms. However, it should be noted that you may have to dismount the TV set in order to access the cables connecting the TV set.
Tilting TV brackets
Tilting wall brackets offer better movement for the TV sets. These wall mounts allow the users to tilt the TV horizontally at an angle of 15-20 degrees. However, side tilting is impossible which is disadvantageous as it restricts the vision of a person watching it from an angle. You can easily access the cables connecting the TV set without having to dismount the bracket.
Full motion TV brackets
Full motion wall mounts are the most advanced type of TV brackets available. These mounts sit 2-6 inches away from the wall and hence the viewing angle of the TV can be altered as per the wish of the viewer. The cables can be changed with relative ease. It should be noted that full motion TV brackets are large in size as compared to the other TV brackets.
